Astragalus Black Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 20g (about 4 1/4 teaspoons) dried longan
- 20g astragalus (about 4 1/4 teaspoons or 4 sticks)
- 6 red dates
- 1 chicken (skin and fat removed)
- 1 piece tangerine peel
Directions
- Rinse all ingredients; blanch chicken in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
- Fill soup pot with water, add in all ingredients then bring them to boil and turn to low heat, let the soup simmer for 2.5 hours.
